Cities & Towns Near Teterboro Airport
Related info: Teterboro Airport
Teterboro is a very popular airport for many New Yorkers and others, including executive business travel and leisure travel. Though it is based nearby in Teterboro New Jersey, KTEB is an excellent airport option for those flying in to New York, as it has fewer total passengers pass through on a daily basis than New York's main commercial airports, such as La Guardia, JFK or Newark Liberty. This is not to say that Teterboro is a quiet airport, on the contrary it is a very busy private airport that handled an average of 419 flights per day in 20101.
Though it is perpetually listed as one of the busiest airports in the United States, Teterboro does not allow aircraft that weigh over 100,000 lbs to land as the result of federal bill passed in 2003 which cited noise pollution in the surrounding residential areas. This bill effectively negates Teterboro as a commercial airport and reduces passenger load and foot traffic as a result. Due to a lesser number of passengers served, Teterboro is able to process flights quicker than can be done in a main commercial hub. In addition, Teterboro Airport in New Jersey is just 12 miles from midtown Manhattan, which makes it a perfect choice for efficient business and personal travel to and from New York City.
Ground transportation is available for incoming passengers to Teterboro Airport in a variety of luxury vehicles as well as black cars. It is convenient to access Manhattan from Teterboro Airport; access to Midtown New York City is available through Lincoln Tunnel and access to Uptown NYC by way of the George Washington bridge.
Common requests from TEB include turboprop and small private jet charters from New York to Miami (KMIA/ MIA), jet charter from NYC to Palm Beach International (KPBI/ PBI), charter flights from New York City to Atlanta often using DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (KPDK/ PDK), and private flights from New York to Los Angeles (KLAX/ LAX). Teterboro can also be used as a starting point for international flights, such as private charter flights from New York to Paris or New York to London. International flights must use larger jets, such as heavy or super mid sized jets. Teterboro Airport has two runways; one that is 7,000 feet long and 150 feet wide and one that is 6,013 feet long and 150 feet wide. These runways make it possible for most private jets to land and take off safely, however elevation, fuel and cargo load can affect the amount of runway needed.
Private jet charter flights from Teterboro to West Palm Beach (PBI) will take approximately three hours in a light jet. Chartering a jet from TEB to PBI is one of the most common flight paths for private jets, and is efficiently accomplished in many jet types, including light jets such as the Learjet 35A, Citation II or Citation Jet 3 (also known as the CJ3). Commercial flights from New York to West Palm Beach, Florida can add more than two additional hours on to flight time; generally the result of early arrival requirements and time spent checking in at the airport. For executives who value time, a charter flight from Teterboro will not only decrease the total amount of travel time, it will also improve in-flight productivity as private jets offer a more spacious and focused environment. In flight catering and ground transportation are also available; upon request catered meals can be provided on the aircraft and private transportation can be arranged to be waiting at the arrival airport prior to aircraft touchdown.

This high-end bird is just about as amazing as private jets get. It seems once our customers step foot on a Cessna Citation X, it's a fight to get them on any other charter airplane model. Departing Teterboro Airport, the "X" -- as in the roman numeral ten -- will be ready to charm even the most discretionary passengers. For those elite passengers who demand a large and spacious interior cabin space similar to a Gulfstream IV or Challenger 604, the speed differential of the Citation X for lengthy flights may be enough to change their minds... at least on occasion.
The Citation X maintains the well deserved position as the fastest super mid private business jet in the world; although that may change as the Citation X+ emerges onto a tarmac near you. Still, considering more than three hundred Citation Xs have been created to date, courtesy of Cessna Aviation Company a wholly owned subsidiary of Textron, since the mid 1990s, this plane continues to be in high marketplace demand both for purchase, fractional ownership, jet card programs tailored to the Citation X offering, in addition to on-demand charter.
The Cessna Citation X is very popular to put it mildly. The Citation X is arguably regarded as one of the most well-known private airplanes flying these days. To many, the Citation X is the most well known and most loved charter airplane in the Cessna's lengthy and reputable history.
The "X" holds a wide variety of honors regarding advancement in aircraft engineering in addition to general performance with regard to aerodynamics--not to mention airspeed. If you are preparing to make a reservation, or even considering a flight reservation, for an up and coming private jet charter itinerary initially departing from Teteboro, New Jersey, the Cessna Citation X is an outstanding option, since the landing strip at Teterboro Airport is, according to our records, 7,000 feet. The minimum required for most jets in 5,000 feet leaving plenty of room to spare, but beyond that we arrange Citation X flights and many equivalent aircraft models in the same category, as well as the larger heavy jets in the next class up.
We have confidence that an air charter booking on a Citation X, or even a Challenger 300-a relatively similar aircraft-will delight the passengers aboard. On top of an amazing aircraft experience, we are happy to arrange in-flight catering and any desired ground transfer at most airports throughout the USA and Canada, and even select international destinations.
